Muker, a small village in Upper Swaledale, in the Yorkshire Dales National Park, benefits from two public spaces, its Public Hall and Muker Literary Institute.  Each has different histories and characteristics.  Until recently they both had separate Trustees but have now amalgamated (see here for further details).  Both are available to hire (see Hiring).  Please contact us if you are interested in hiring either or both venues.

The Lower room of the Literary Institute houses a free public exhibition of photos and artefacts.  It is open in the summer months most days unless the room is being used for other purposes.  Please click here for further information.

We hope you find this site interesting and useful.
